Bodyshop Spotlight: Activate Accident Repair Warrington

We continue our Bodyshop Spotlight series by taking a closer look at one of our flagship repair centres; Activate Accident Repair Warrington. The Warrington bodyshop is the largest repair centre in the business, spanning 24,000 ft2, with the capacity to repair up to 18 vehicles per day.

Lee Johnson, Area Manager, said: “The Warrington team takes great pride in delivering exceptional repairs that not only meet industry standards, but also exceed customer expectations. We always strive to ensure the customer journey is as seamless and stress-free as possible for every customer who enters our bodyshop”

Designed for efficiency

Activate Accident Repair Warrington opened in 2021 as a purpose-built bodyshop, equipped with the latest repair technology to meet the needs of emerging vehicle technology.

The centre has the capability to recalibrate ADAS systems and other built-in safety features, repair structural composite materials, and tackle complex repair processes for LCV, electric and hybrid vehicles.

Industry recognition

Like all Activate Repair centres, the Warrington team take training seriously, and regularly update their skills so they can provide best-in-class repairs and service.

The site holds the BSI Kitemark for Vehicle Damage Repair, demonstrating a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

The centre also plays an active part in Activate Accident Repair’s award-winning apprentice scheme.  In 2026, the team were delighted to see Callum Layland, one of their apprentices, win Thatcham Research Apprentice of the Year at the British Bodyshop Awards.

Andrew Hamer, Bodyshop Manager for Warrington, commented: “We see the importance of apprenticeships in building future talent in our industry, and we’re committed to supporting our apprentices here at Warrington. Attending the British Bodyshop Awards and seeing Callum win Apprentice of the Year was a very proud moment for me.”

A drive for customer satisfaction

Whether it’s a small cosmetic touch-up or a complex multi-panel job, the team at Warrington put real care into every repair. They use modern equipment and technology to ensure that repairs are completed to the highest standard and work hard to keep customers up to date.
